We will file insurance to most insurance carriers as a courtesy to all of our patients, but please note that we are in network with the insurance carriers listed above.

Cash, check, Visa and MasterCard are all accepted. O’Hara Dentistry also offers you third-party financing through CareCredit. Qualified patients can receive low- or no-interest healthcare financing. Apply online or call us at 757.340.1153 for more information.

Questions We Hear The Most

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

A photo ID, a copy of your dental insurance card, your previous dentist information, and a list of all medications and allergies.

How soon can I get an appointment?

If you have an emergency and call first thing in the morning, we usually can get you in the same day. For routine visits, depending on your flexibility, we can usually appoint you within a week. We also have a short call list that we use to call patients who would like to come in if we have a cancellation.

Do you do teeth whitening?

Yes, we make custom trays for either at-home bleaching or Zoom in-office whitening.

I’m scared of the dentist. Will you take the time to explain everything to me?

Both of our dentists are very gentle and will take the time to make sure you understand your dental condition and what we can do to help you. Please let us know of any specific concerns and we will do anything we can to relieve any anxiety.
